Just cherries!!!!!!

When I woke up one Saturday morning this summer my wrist were stiff and painful. It had been cool and rainy so I attributed this pain to the weather. I could barley get myself ready for a shower because of the pain. My husband noticed my discomfort and asked what he could do.

 Traditionally I usually look to natural method but immediate healing was needed. I asked him for any pain medicine we had. DH (who is also a doctor) suffers from back pain occasionally so I knew he would have something. "I got some Advil," but you should try a more natural way" he suggested. I appreciated his words. I requested that he look up some info on the Internet for me.

My 1st client was arriving within the hour and I needed to get dressed. I decided to let the shower run as hot as I could tolerate. I saturated my wrist. The heat loosened the stiffness.

"Cherry juice will be good for you" he announced as I was taking my shower. He went to Whole Foods to purchase a few bottles & a large bag of cherries.

I started drinking the bottled 100% cherry juice that morning within minutes I felt relief.  A few hours later
the stiffness was completely gone.  I was amazed. I drunk cherry juice untill it was gone. Then I enjoyed eating handfuls of fresh cherries the rest of the week.

We did some research on the internet. We discovered that Gout is caused by a high concentration of uric acid.  Uric acid can be lowered by anthocyanocides which are found in cherries.  We were blown away with the countless cases we read about the healing effect of arthritic pain & gout from the simple consumption of cherries. I know now that my stiffness was gout.

It has been over 6 months since that morning happened. I am glad to report that I have had no bouts of arthritic pain. I watch the foods I eat and occasionally eat cherries.

Whether you drink the juice or chew the fruit, "Its got to be the juice"!!!!
